Cos: Sasori's heart (2012)

The dude stuffed his heart into a cylinder. Gee, what a charmer. Anyways, I slaughtered an empty Pringles can and an old, thick, Harry Potter mouse mat for the whole cylinder, which  then painted with lot of acrylic.  On top of it reads Sasori (scorpion) and I know, I suck at writing in Japanese. Kanji are something I like, but they are hard to get right after no matter how many attempts. The smaller one is actually three (?) Pringles can tops stacked and painted together.

Cos: Sasori's scrolls (2012)

All the scrolls and the holder. The wooden insides were crafted by my grandfather, since I don't posses enough skills to craft wood. Of course it woud have been better just to roll more wallpaper, but they are fine, not that heavy, actually. A bit.

Cos: Water and Fire scrolls (2012)

みず
Water (mizu) and fire (hi) scrolls used by Sasori.

Cos: Red Secret Tech. Performance of 100 puppets (2012)

赤秘技・百機の操 ,
Akahigi: Hyakki no Sōen
Part of my future Sasori of the Red Sand cosplay. Preferably I need to finish it before Kitacon 2013 in March, if I'm not mistaken. It would be awesome to pull off. I'm exactly the same height as Sasori and I find the costume a challenge to pull off with my limited resources. Anyways, the scroll paper isn't all that nice, it's wallpaper. I was have to measure and cut bags out of rolls and rolls of wallpaper and one brand was particularly perfect for these at the workshop.

TP: China art (2012)

Painted on panorama paper. Believe it or not, that is not ink, but acrylic. I used very little paint and very much water and could have done that for hours on end.

TD: Kawaii Tabemono (2012)

We were aske to draw something on a big sheet of paper in the workshop. I drew cute Japanese food products. They never fail.

TD: Amaterasu (2012)

What is a better way to start posting 2012s but Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun? Completely by colored pencils and a sharp pencil.

SI: Moon Slays the Sun (2011)

Two differently taken pictures of the same painting. Based on three different songs, two of which are mine. This was up on our wall in our previous dorm room. Selene has slain Amaterasu, under the blood red moon.

TD: O-Sushi (2010)

Drew this after making sushi for the first time in my life. Tuna and cucumber. Lovely. This ended up on our kitchen wall, there was nothing in there otherwise.

TD: Winter Wedding Deco (2010)

Not just wedding. I want a whole ice blue flowered blooming sakura tree on my walls. Even one wall. Or a door.

FA: Anari of the Ice (2010)

One of my OC characters, actually pretty much a stock character, in a way too. Heavily japanese themed, which I like very much. Here are some in progress scans of it and to my irritation, I noticed the furisode-type sleeves and corselet would have looked better white.
Background was a tough call to decide what to do, but I ended up going with tundra and desert with the red Japanese rising sun.

I found with this that I don't wanna do anything of this caliber on colored paper with colored pencils ever again. OW MY HAND!
