TD: Blue Dragon (2008)

Scraping technique. I refound my love for this all of a sudden. I had a model for the dragon, but still. Blue gouache (?) at the bottom, white wax pastel crayon. The reason I like crayons is the ability to color smooth and bright surfaces. I'm a big sucker for clear colors. I scraped this with a needle, wiped the excess with an old watercolor brush.

Traditional Art: Dolphin (2004)

One of my oldest works I still had in my disposal. It hasn't taken well being years on my door, but it's only the corner. I used to sign my name in Greek back then, Teigia. It was around 2004 I guess, I had a Greek penpal. The dolphin was drawn with a pencil, then colored over with white wax pastel (I think...) and then I painted it with gouache colors, my favorites. And if I remember correctly, I did all this in the middle of class that was NOT art. I was kinda... Fuck the police type back then. The animal itself is one of my best. I haven't really improved in that area, but the ocean is a disappointment. And I haven't improved. The elements or rather, visible elements (fire, earth, water) are difficult for me.
