My OC character Anitreil, a dark elf and no, I don't do the stereotypical dark elves look evil and have dark skin. I do whatever I want.
Anyway, did this on top of a Top Model booklet's guy model. The scanner doesn't do it justice, it destroyed the shading and my gosh was I left staring at it "Did I draw this?"

Phoenix 3 (2013)
Colored a copy of the phoenix I'm making the relief of. It looks pretty neat, despite myself saying so. I didn't want the typical coloring and I think this even amplifies the tattoo effect in it. I'm not a tattoo designer and the tattoo I'm supposed to be getting is one of my worst drawings. I just hope the tattoo artist drew a better version of it. Speaking of which, I gotta ask her has she made alteration to it and how much it will cost...

Phoenix 2 (2013)
This is supposed to be a draft for the next course I have. I'm supposed to make a relief that has a meaning for me. Well, I drew this based on my another phoenix drawing. Once again, tattoo/tribal style. Dunno, these kinda drawings work for me, I don't need to be that accurate with everything, because I can spend hours on details. Seriously. These are rather quick to do and they look hella neat. Decided to leave this without color, so I can get a copy and work on levels. I have a lot of work to do...

Craft: Apple (2013)
Now this was interesting. With no filling, this sat on my scanner for a while, until last night I finished it. The filling I used was clumpy and old (ancient), so it left it heavy and a bit uneven. It looked like a bell pepper at one point (as I wrote this, my classmate behind me spoke about bell peppers), but thankfully it now looks like an apple. The red yarn is 7-Veljestä by Novita. Bonus, my hand holding it. It just didn't look good on the turned over mousemat.
Craft: Small Rose (2013)
Tiny rose I crocheted a while back, I'm planning on making a bigger one, that was rather challenging. Also, I might switch yarns completely. The light green is Nalle Aloe Vera wool yarn from Novita, the red is cotton or something, but it was nice and shiny. This was rather painful to make, I was VERY exhausted while making this, it was 3am when I finally finished it and simply crashed. Every petal is done separately and every crocheter knows the spirals are natural state of the crochet.

This is Halloween (2013) WIP
This is still work in progress, I'm out of idea what to put there. I can't leave it like this though. Graah! This will also eventually be on sale.
TD: Lady in Turquose (2013)
This was an interesting project. I used a model from Drawing Shojo of different nationalities and this was ancient... indian? Anyway, I had my fiancée pose for me too. I'm kinda pleased with this, only problem is I forgot how the fabric folds and that digs me still. I'm happy with the hair though. And the gold jewelry, though they could have more shine in them. Maybe her facial features a tad bit too Caucasoid to my taste.

Marker hand (2013)
Couch cover (2013)
The final work was in three parts. First, we had to look for a painting that pleased our eye with the colors. I chose an ancient Egyptian painting of a vulture from someone's tomb. Then, we needed to take the colors and create something of our own, something that could be from our respective lines of work. I wanted to keep the vulture, but no. Even the stripes are from there. And the balls. I guess I'm too neurotic for this.
Anyways, we had to keep the proportions of colors, hence the black-blue (which my camera blew again) being dominant. We had to then paint that, either with gouache/watercolors, or acrylics. I obviously went for the acrylics and cried blood how others treated the paints and the brushes. Also flipped off when they shook our desks.
The third part was to show a new side of the said design and place it in a normal environment.
I chose to depict the corner, which shows it has more of that clay red, close up of the fuzzy ball and of course, our cat.

Painted from photo (2013)
The original photo was taken by Ian Cameron, he takes wonderful pictures, I actually had two of his photos as options, but teacher and I came to a conclusion this had more challenge over bluescale winter picture. This was hard as hell and believe me, looks better from afar and without the model image. Acrylics on watercolor paper.
Abstract Star Trek style (2013)
Random ass name, I don't like Star Trek, I'm more of Star Wars kinda girl. Anyway, we had to make an abstract painting with different shades. We were told to plan it carefully. I didn't. This isn't even close to my original plan, I just painted slabs with minimal attempt to make it look like a tunnel. Failed, but I don't care. Honestly, I simply don't care.
Halloween table (2013)
Shadowed Chair (2013)
Another pencil work, we also had to use the grid, but with my wobbly left hand, it's nearly impossible to nail it, so most of this is once again, straight from my view instead of usage of the grid.

Empress of Heavy Metal (2013)
This was quite piece of work, ran out of Pastel Blue in the ProMarker set, so used some colored pencil on the sky, then realized the ground couldn't be the same color as well.

Top Model: Anastasia Afinogenov (2013)
My Russian OC. The necklace sticker is too slanted, which pisses me off and I didn't cover the legs, but what you can do. This is even greener in real life, but the scanner kills the vibrancy. I'd love to do this in real life. Actually, all of the three wedding gown designs.

Commission: Lava Dragon (2013)
The name was Underworld Protector or something. It's not supposed to fly, so it's fat and those pathetic wings won't be able to lift it. I had a model for this from Dragoart, but I tried to make it more original.
Top Model: Anjeylica (2013)
Another bride, actually the few minutes elder twin of the girl in the previous. I didn't remove the outlines this time, I notice, but I think you'll live.

Top Model: Serafina (2013)
I have a wedding fever and it's starting to show. Honestly. I'm making another version as soon as _I get some of my stuff hidden from view...

Gamer Teddy (2012)
A painting I did in the arts class last year. I never realized that I didn't have a picture of it here. It was only when I was printing them out I started looking for a pic and had to take one. So this is a photo, once again. I had to paint the PS3 controller later, so it's a bit off, the shadow was all different in our room than in the class.

Dixarara Nightmask (2013)
My original character, Nightmask clan matriarch, mother of two. She is one of my favorites and actually reminds me perhaps the most.

Commission: Skull tiger [daylight] (2013)
Day version of the skeleton tiger I finished earlier. My wrist didn't quite like this, but then again, I drove and carried stuff yesterday, so I think I can deal with this. Gotta work out more, my wrists included.

Commission: Kraken & Leviathan (2013)
Once again, a commission work for x-kisu on dA. Done with different colored pencils, some of them watercolor pencils.

Commission: Skull tiger [night version] (2013)
This was the trickiest one yet, had to color the background at least 4 times, it's still too light. I also needed to add more remains of flesh, in the style of the Aztec curse in PotC 1. I think I did ok. And, like the previous, initial design by x-kisu.

Commission: Astorion Tiger (2013)
Astorion tiger, design by x-kisu on devArt, drawn by me. Something I really don't want to meet on a dark alley, or in anyplace for the matter. One of my best animals.

3-point perspective (2013)
Got full score from perspective and projection course. This was my final artwork for it. A lighthouse (which looks more like Alcatraz) with 3 point perspective. I almost ran out of Royal Blue Promarker. Damn.

Fanart: Uchiha Kyoudai
This is the main lineart, done with my new Derwent charcoal pens. Sasuke was easier and looks like him, but took more time. Itachi was faster, but I'm not overly satisfied with what he looks like in this one.
With the shading, I did try to make it more realistic, using two different Asian singers as models, Jin Akanishi for Sasuke and Jun Matsumoto for Itachi. Sasuke looks jsut picture perfect, but I failed with Itachi. It wasn't until I had fixed it with hairspray, when I realized that I could have improved Itachi's face quite a deal, had I shaded more from between his eyes, which are too far set anyway. Damn. Well, better luck next time.

Sundye Shurikens (2013)
Another sundye, this one has the same red that the Stratovarius bag. The shurikens I made with paper, which wasn't the best for this, as you can see, but I kinda like that misty look about them, it gives them some motion.
Fanart: Sundye SHIELD logo (2013)
I don't remember did I paint or spray this with the purple, but I slammed the plastic cutout logo on top of this and let it dry. The color escapes the offending item on top of it, resulting this lighter shade.
Fanart: Stratovarius shopping bag (2013)
If only I had made this earlier, this might have ended up in the Stratovarius video, but alas, this is a good shopping bag nonetheless. Painted thoroughly with the self mixed paint, then hung to dry, which resulted in those interesting lighter parts. Then did the compass star and logo with cutouts and the back is once again done with FinnFoam stamps.
Phoenixe Imperiale (2013)
This is so far the only designed logo for the band I'm in, Phoenixe Imperiale. Note that the DeviantArt watermark is my own, because I'm updating this blog as a part of a school assignment, which means I'm in the classroom, using my school issued laptop, whereas all my arts are in the desktop computer on the other side of the yard, in the dorm.
Orange ball of fluff (2013)
Something quick I made with colored pencils as a birthday gift to my gramps. It's done in a hurry, but damn if the coloring of the chest and paws ain't my best.
WIP: Pillowcase (2013)
A small pillowcase I've printed using "seula", which is a bit lengthy to explain and I don't have time for that at the moment. The leopard in the pillowcase is not designed by me, but the leaves I did carve from FinnFoam myself.
Hana (2013)
Pearly fabric paint, or rather, paste. Painted with a brush. The light green is matte, which I'm not a big fan of.
Fanart: Stratovarius apron (2013)
Apron I made both for myself, and for the Stratovarius video competition. I didn't win the competition, unlike my fiancée, whose self painted tank top won and made it to the video, but I did get my name to video (credited as myself, not with my artist/penname). I cook a lot, despite not being a good cook, this is handy.
Sprayed orange paint all over this, then added salt to give it a lively feel and after it dried, stamped those Stratovarius logos all over it. Needless to say, foods I cook are a lot heavier now.
