Tried a bit of a new style. This was a request and an early Christmas present for my sweetheart. Had a model with this but screwed it up nonetheless.

Yù Gōng Zhǔ (2012)

Mixed colored pencils with markers (roses) and gouache (gold). The name is Jade Princess. Looks a bit like Gong Li and Li Man in the movie Curse of the Golden Flower.

Cos: Sasori's heart (2012)

The dude stuffed his heart into a cylinder. Gee, what a charmer. Anyways, I slaughtered an empty Pringles can and an old, thick, Harry Potter mouse mat for the whole cylinder, which  then painted with lot of acrylic.  On top of it reads Sasori (scorpion) and I know, I suck at writing in Japanese. Kanji are something I like, but they are hard to get right after no matter how many attempts. The smaller one is actually three (?) Pringles can tops stacked and painted together.

All the scrolls and the holder. The wooden insides were crafted by my grandfather, since I don't posses enough skills to craft wood. Of course it woud have been better just to roll more wallpaper, but they are fine, not that heavy, actually. A bit.

Part of my future Sasori of the Red Sand cosplay. Preferably I need to finish it before Kitacon 2013 in March, if I'm not mistaken. It would be awesome to pull off. I'm exactly the same height as Sasori and I find the costume a challenge to pull off with my limited resources. Anyways, the scroll paper isn't all that nice, it's wallpaper. I was have to measure and cut bags out of rolls and rolls of wallpaper and one brand was particularly perfect for these at the workshop.

TP: China art (2012)

Painted on panorama paper. Believe it or not, that is not ink, but acrylic. I used very little paint and very much water and could have done that for hours on end.

TD: Bust (2012)

This is A3 charcoal work we had to do on arts class here. The teacher suggested that we all darken the background a little, which I eventually tried with this and it didn't look good at all, so  left it like this. I have no idea what has happened lately with my arts. I've developed so quickly (and not thanks to the art class)

The jewelry commissions have certain limitations of equipment, the drawings don't have much limitations but painting-wise,

• I only have simple watercolors (cheap type),

• Biggest available size is A3, but I can get bigger paper if situation should call for it.

• A4 - 10€-20€ depending on what medium used.
• A3 paper - 20€-25€
• A3 canvas - 30€

I might not be able to pay the whole postage, so be prepared for some extra charge. I for now only ship around Europe because of payment issues.

It's finally ready. Took me ages to get to visit my old home and find the gold acrylic paint. I painted the wings and the whole scarabe golden from the behind, since the wing is cracked from both sides.I decided to leave the blue glaze as it is.

A technique I picked up from YouTube. Get some paint in a straw, drop it on the paper and blow to spread with the straw. You can get wonderful trees and bushy plants with it, if the paint is slick, wet and thin. You can't do many of these though. Dizzy...
